I have this view of you as like the super prayer guy. I would think to myself, how does he find the words to speak for two hours? And then I asked you something one day. Do you spend the majority of your time talking to God or listening to God? And you said, I spend the majority of my time listening to God. That moment, a light bulb went off. You look at Paul, he says pray without ceasing. So if you got 98% of the people that are dissatisfied their prayer life, we gotta talk about this.

Some people feel so disconnected from God.

They feel so disconnected from one another.

They feel so disconnected from creation.

We make prayer so much about performance when it's about presence.

God is just waiting for us to connect with him without the sense of guilt, shame, condemnation,

the torment of offense.

There's a famous quote from Mother Teresa.

Someone asked her, they said, what happens when you pray?

And she goes, oh, well, I listen.

And the person said, and what does God do?

She said,

a lot of people's lives, and the publisher and you are both brilliant in doing something very
