Summary

What was the moment you realized you were spending more time diagnosing your partner than actually working on the relationship?

Dr. Isabelle Morley breaks down why therapy language has become our defense mechanism instead of our healing tool. This conversation goes beyond surface-level awareness into why using clinical terms to explain our pain actually keeps us stuck in the pattern.

What you'll learn:

  • Why the person doing the diagnosing often needs more work
  • How weaponizing therapy speak blocks real intimacy and accountability
  • The negative cycle that makes everyone look pathological when triggered

Dr. Isabelle Morley is a couples therapist practicing Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Her work focuses on helping people stop using clinical language as a weapon and start accessing the vulnerability underneath their defenses.

the problem is that they are bipolar and they're super toxic and I missed all

their red flags. And I realized that I was spending so much time with people talking them out

0:44.2

of these terms as opposed to doing the actual work of therapy. And then as soon as I saw that,

0:49.2

I just saw it everywhere.

Hiring, indeed, is all you need. Stop struggling to get your

candidates who can drive real results. Sponsored jobs boost your post for quality candidates so you can

reach the exact people you want faster. And according to Indeed data, sponsored jobs posted

1:28.6

directly on Indeed are 90% more likely to report a hire than non-sponsored jobs because you reach

a bigger pool of quality candidates. So if I had to hire someone tomorrow, I'd want someone who

already understands my workflow and can jump in and actually help. And that's why I use
