What up, guys? Welcome to the jujitsu podcast. Today's episode, we're going to talk about the idea of being too nice in jih Tjitsu. I think this is something I talked about this to one of my emails and one of my videos, and it really struck a chord with people. And it's something that I see a lot of times in just in training where people are like so apprehensive to put people in uncomfortable spots.

0:23.3

And it makes sense because, you know, when you think about what we do on a day to day

0:27.9

to existence, right, if you live in most parts of the world, you're not smashing people's

face into the ground, right?

0:34.2

It's not something that you, unless for some reason, something bad's happening.

And so you typically don't do that as a casual thing. But in jiu-jitsu, like, you very much have to be okay with doing that. But there is a point where you kind of cross the line. And so what

1:04.4

And hopefully this is helpful to you in making yourself more technically aggressive. Or on the

1:09.2

flip side, if everybody tells you you're a dick, well, then hopefully this will be

1:12.1

helpful to reel yourself back in a little bit so that you stop being the reckless, spazzy

1:16.0

jerk that nobody wants to roll with, that they avoid like cockroaches when the light turns

1:20.7

on as soon as it's time to grab a partner.

goody bag of stuff that we give you.
