Welcome to Social Dallas. Oh, you look like you got some confident trust in the Lord.

It's hard to trust the God you don't know.

It's hard to know a God that you won't take time to worship and honor.

So we'll never apologize for that.

I am going to preach an abbreviated, an abbreviated message today. So glad that you're here, but I'm more thankful that the

presence of the Lord is here. Thank you, God.

He's the God we can trust.

It's a God we can trust.

And so we have a verse that we declare every single Sunday.

We're going to do it again today.

It's in Hebrews chapter 10, verses 35 through 37.

I know you've been standing for a minute.

I promise I'm going to let you sit. Worship team don't go too far. Go too far. Come on. Y'all don't go till I say so. You ready?

So I fall away. This confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you.

Patient endurance is what you need now so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he is promised for in just a little while,

the coming one will come and not delay. Come on. Do you believe he's coming?

Every time we read it, I just wonder, what if he comes while we're reading it?

That'd be crazy. The coming one will, and then we're just out of here. Those you at the top,

get there before us. I want to read a very familiar passage of scripture in your hearing.

We have been in a series, believe it or not, called Still, understanding what it is to practice the discipline of silence and solitude.

Come around the idea that it's not enough to just be around God if you don't get alone with God.

Be still and know that He is God.
