Is Brian Rose from London Real? I am at the Silicon Roundabout, also known as the Old Street

roundabout here in London. I think I just saw some snow. It's almost April and I think it's still winter.

It reminds me of the Wall and Game of Thrones, but it keeps us strong here in England.

This is where Google and all of the high-tech firms are located and it's considered kind of the

Silicon Valley of the UK. Now I haven't seen a lot of late-night techies around here

but apparently that's where it's at.

I'm gonna walk you through Old Street Station and hopefully not get arrested today.

Last time I tried this is when we picked up Jack fresco at Waterloo Station and I got caught by the police.

They weren't very impressed with my camera work.

They're a little sensitive here in the UK, but we're going to give it a try.

This week we have Mr Stephen Pinker. He's a Harvard professor of psychology and he's an interesting

dude. He talks about cognitive behavior, but he also is a linguist and he has a lot of different

things that he talks about his latest book is called Better Angels of Our

Nature and he charts the history of violence throughout our civilization and he argues funny enough

that the incidents of violence have actually decreased over the last 1,000 years.

You know and this guy can drop science from linguism to morality

to pretty much everything and it was nice having a Peter Irvine here because he's

a former anarchist himself whether he likes to admit it or not and I think Stephen Pinker

had a bit bit of anarchy in his past so they had a good vibe going on and also Stephen

and I we spent some time at MIT together I think our path is linked just like for about

four years there so it's very cool talking to him so I hope you enjoy this
