0:42.9	And Ronda Sanis has been very, very lucky. When he ran for Florida governor in the Republican primary,
0:49.7	what was his campaign about? He ran as a sycophant, literally.
0:55.1	He ran as the biggest Trump ass kisser in the field.
0:59.4	He made perfectly clear that he would be loyal for life or until death do them part.
1:06.5	Now, DeSantis didn't hold up his part of the bargain, but he's running for president and collapsing

1:14.6	What type of governor has Ron DeSantis been?

1:20.4	Has he tried to lift people up, bring them together?
1:25.3	Has he tried to make his state more prosperous, more friendly,
1:30.3	to instill it with more opportunity for its people?
1:35.3	He chose to do none of those things.
1:37.3	Instead, what Ron DeSantis did was inside a culture war,
1:41.3	pitting one group against another, adding on to the fire that Trump started,
1:48.5	one log at a time, stoking division, animosity, and cruelty. Ron DeSantis has departed completely
1:58.3	from the concepts of free market economics.
2:03.1	DeSantis believes in a doctrine of punishment and revenge, like his mentor Trump.
