Hello, Hello everybody. Welcome to the Untold Story Podcast. I'm Martha McCallum. It is a very busy week so far, and we're not even, we're about halfway through at this point.

Lots of hearings happening on Capitol Hill and also the overarching enormous story of what's going on in California, which has so many political and

personal implications of these just ravenous fires that have just been an absolute nightmare

for so many in the Los Angeles area.

And I want to bring in Steve Hilton, Fox News contributor, co-founder of CrowdPack and a former advisor to the former UK Prime Minister, David Cameron.

You're also a long time resident now of California, Steve.

How many years have you lived there?

And you live in the San Francisco area, correct?

Yeah.

So we've been here since 2012.

So a long time now, more than a decade.

I've been an American citizen since 2021.

And I've spent actually, you're right, we're based in the Bay Area, but I'm often in L.A. for many,

many reasons for work and family and professional reasons and lots of friends.

And I've been there pretty much consistently since this absolute calamity began.
