Guaranteed Human. Come on. Do your thing, Nick Daddy. Uh-huh. I sure will. Good morning, everybody. You're all listening to the voice. Come on. Dig me now. One and only, Steve Harvey. Uh-huh. Got a radio show. Yeah, man. What a blessing it is. I can't even explain my whole life. My whole life

0:22.2

is a blessing. It really is. In spite of all the things that happened, contrary to having the

0:27.4

appearances of a blessing, as I look back on my life today, it all happened for a reason. It all

0:33.3

came together, tied together. And, you know, it's important, man. I think a lot of people ask me about my success and how I got here and how do I attribute it and what was the steps. I want to tell you what it is. Now, listen to me. Before I get started, please understand that everything that I tell you is faith-based. Everything that I tell you is faith-based. You can double-check it.

0:54.6

You can go behind me. Whatever your faith is, if you go back into the writings in your faith, it's in there. It's in there. Now, I'm not telling you anything new. I'm not giving you a new angle. I may give you a different way of it saying it, you know, maybe hearing it back to yourself. But in essence, man, I really do know that I'm not going to say anything that you may not have heard, but I phrase it in a different kind of way.

And so this series this week, I want to talk to you about how to make it kind of a motivational series.

1:22.7

And the first part, the most important component of it in accomplishing what you want in your

1:28.7

life is you have to identify the dream.

1:33.1

This is the critical step.

1:35.2

A lot of people spend their life squandering and wandering around because they never identify

1:40.5

the dream.

1:41.5

You have to identify the dream.

1:43.2

You have to identify what it is that you to identify what it is that you want,

1:47.2

what it is that you hope for. You have to have a goal in mind. You have to have a destination.

1:54.0

You know, and when you go outside and put the key in your car, you never go and put your key in

1:58.0

the car and just get in and just drive, you know, unless you're

2:01.1

trying to clear your head or something. But if you talk about going somewhere, you've got to

2:05.6

have a destination. You got to have somewhere you want to go or else you're just running around.

2:10.3

You're burning gas. Where you're going now? I don't know. Left here, right here, go here,

2:14.5

go there. You know, you must identify the dream. The dream is the single most important part of the component to making the success out yourself. God can't bless what you don't have. You can't get what you never give. Identify the dream. What is it that burns inside you that keeps you awake at night? What is it, man, that makes you smile when you think about it? What is it, man, that you can't seem to quite shake? Okay, so you go to college, right? You make a decision, which I disagree with, you ask an 18 to a 21-year-old to make a decision of what he wants to do and what he wants to be with the rest of his life. That's tough because guess what?

2:51.7

This young person doesn't really know himself or herself yet.
