I want to talk a moment for just about the passing of one of the great civil right

movement figures in Reverend Jesse Jackson.

Now, listen to me.

It's not that we were exceptionally close.

It's not that we talked often. It none of that it's just that i knew him

and i knew him sometimes on a personal level we had many conversations about rights and movements and

protesting pushing and all of these things. But we also had many

personal conversations. I remember the last time I really sat down and talked with him, we were at

a gym in Chicago together when I was living in Chicago, and he walked up to me. I was in the

wait room, and we sat down and we had a conversation.

So I'm not saying that Jesse Jackson and I were close.

You know how a lot of people when somebody passes.

And all of a sudden they talk about how close they weren't friends.

That wasn't the case.

But I knew him.

And I've known him for a long time.

A long, long time. I've sat him for a long time, a long, long time.

I've set in meetings with him.

I've been in protest with him.

I've still shoulder to shoulder with him before.
