0:33.9	So we're launching into a new series called The Road to Freedom.
0:38.8	And over these next five weeks, we're going to talk about God's plan for your freedom. God has a plan for you to freedom. And over these next five weeks, we're going to talk about God's plan for your freedom.
0:46.3	God has a plan for you to live in complete freedom in all areas of your life. Now, part of this is convincing you of this reality, that God has called you and invited you into freedom.
0:52.8	A lot of people have an understanding of God that produces more bondage in their mind,
0:58.0	but that is not what the Bible teaches.
1:00.0	In fact, in Galatians chapter 5, verse 1, if you will pull out your notes,
1:04.0	this is going to be a theme verse for us over these five weeks, Galatians 5-1,
1:08.0	I want to invite you, I think you're awake, I already feel your energy and your
1:13.0	passion today, so I want to invite you to read aloud with me, Galatians chapter 5, verse 1,
1:20.3	it says this, it is for freedom that Christ has set us free.
1:26.3	Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of
1:32.3	slavery. This image that Paul gives to us is saying so many people are carrying a yoke that Jesus
1:38.7	has already set them free from. So it's almost as if God sets us free and we go back to bondage. We move into the thing
1:45.6	that God is saying, I want you to move out of it. I've already brought it out of your life, but you
1:49.8	choose to go back into it. So we're going to look, how does God actually bring that freedom about
1:55.6	in our lives? But it's good for us to start on the front end and really clarify what does it mean to live with
2:02.1	bondage what does it mean to live in a spiritual kind of slavery now if you look at the bible there's so
