Okay, I need to tell you guys something I've been working on on the side.

When I started my blog 11 years ago, it was literally just me at my kitchen table writing

whatever was on my mind. No business, no strategy, just raw thoughts from a 27-year-old stepmom

trying to figure life out. And then it grew into this entire world. Coaching, digital products, podcasts, successful business, all of it.

And I'm so proud of this.

But over time, my writing has shifted from an online journal to a how to step mom manual.

Everything is optimized.

Everything has a purpose.

And now that I've turned 40, I've been craving this space where I can be

unfiltered again, a place to talk about what's really happening behind the scenes, how we're

navigating the holidays with adult stepkids, what still bothers me in stepmom life, even after a

decade of doing this work, how I'm healing my relationship with my mom, how I'm finding myself

again, the messy

middle of entrepreneurship, navigating health in my 40s, the friendship shifts that no one prepares

you for, stuff I don't really feel like sharing on Instagram or anywhere in public.

I want a space where the trolls don't lurk, where women who creep and screenshot will have to

subscribe if they want to watch. A space that feels safe, real and human. And that space is my substack.

I'm already sharing things there that I have never said out loud before, the real conversations,

the things I'm unpacking real time, and the stuff I won't post on Instagram.
