And today, we're talking about a disturbing story, but we've got an interesting angle.

We have not one, but two homicide detectives that I'm about to introduce you to.

As you all know, Fridays are typically the great Phil Waters, America's most respected detective, him and Phil Ramos.

And Bill, believe it or not, called me and said, guess what?

I've got to testify in my final homicide case, even though he's been retired for a number of years.

The trial is just happening.

So that is what he is doing today.

So it's kind of a monumental moment for him.

And by the way, I think this is the first time in history.

We started exactly on time.

But today we are going to be looking at Stefan Stearns. He is, I guess you could call him

the creep and much worse, who was accused in the murder of Maddie Soto in Orlando, Florida.

She went missing February 26 of last year, and her body was discovered four days later.

Stefan Stern's charged with a murder.

He's also charged with 60 counts of various forms of essay on a minor.

Those charges alone could get him convicted of the death penalty, let alone the murder charge.

So he is definitely in a bit of trouble.
