So the biggest thing that happened right before this week, it was perfectly done right after I recorded an episode and just had to scrap it entirely, was T.J. Watts signed extension, which you and I said on this show repeatedly was coming. It was always coming. This was the plan. If it didn't, that would be going against everything we understood. Your reaction to the money as we've seen it and just how things work.

And then we're going to dive into what things we're looking for in training camp around this.

Yeah. I mean, kind of a no-brainer deal for me. The money's fair. It's actually a bit of a discount compared to the last round

of edge rush your contracts when you talk about the percentage of the cap. As you and I

talked about what feels like four years ago, but it was really just a couple months ago.

They can get out of it after 2027 with very little um i don't really see any

downside of the steal at all for the steelers um i don't think it's

i think it's some kind of stretch of a contract where like oh man it'd better really perform

to to live up to his end of the bargain

here or something like that. Like, you know, saw some reaction on Twitter like, oh, you know,

paying for the past performance, like not really. If he's just, he doesn't have to be the

defensive player of the year and get, you know, break the sack record again to justify this contract.

He just has to be really good, and he's always been really good,

and I don't see any reason he's going to stop right now.
