The Pittsburgh Steelers needed a win in a desperate way, and came away victorious on Monday night football, 24-17 over the Indianapolis Colts. Kenny Pickett looked the most mature we've seen of him yet in his third straight game without an interception, and the Steelers' third straight game with 20 or more points. Even with drops from Diontae Johnson and George Pickens, Pickett's ability to show resilience and keep fighting for the next play showed up in a big way for the Steelers. Benny Snell, James Pierre and several other backups stepped up as well for the Steelers. It wasn't pretty, but it was a true, gritty team win. But it's the kind of win that's been part of Mike Tomlin's career to avoid a losing season after all these years. Between big days from Alex Highsmith, Najee Harris and the Steelers' offensive line's bounce back in the game, the Steelers showed they can fight with their backs against the wall.
