Thank you for having me on the show. I'm excited. I told you that off air. Honestly, I've been doing

the show for quite a while now, and I am not sure that I have been this excited. I told you that off air. Honestly, I've been doing the show for quite a while now,

and I am not sure that I have been this excited to talk to someone about their book in a while.

And we didn't get pitched this book. We went after you like a savage. We basically chased you

down and said, please be on the show. And I'm so grateful you said yes,

even though this show is called Jesus over everything, you are a believer, which is awesome.

And that's one of the reasons why I connected with you in the book. And we'll get to some of those

talking points in a minute. But you in the book are very straightforward about sort of your

journey of faith and how, you know,

there was, I'm speaking for you, so please feel free to set me straight if I'm, if I

misqualify this. But sort of this kind of formalized faith at one point, and then Jesus

becoming very real to you at another point.

And I relate to that in a lot of ways, and I think people listening do as well.

So I made sure that I let you know that though we call this show Jesus over everything, it's not a bumper sticker.

It is a strategy for life out of Colossians.

Would you say that's fair about your faith, that you were kind of like, this is the way that I grew up, but this is the way Jesus became real to me?

Sure. I mean, I'm, I still wrestle with faith, and I always have my whole life. I jumped into this book thinking it was going to be about my marriage, and it very quickly became about a lot of other things,

too, including religion and faith and philosophy and sort of what do you do in a situation like this?
