All right. We have a lockdown Corona special here with Vienna Feren, my lovely wife. How are you?

I'm good. How are you? Good. How's Vancouver treating you?

Vancouver is great. It's nice to see the water and mountains and a little different scenery than

from the New York City apartment.

Yeah. So for those of you who don't know, on Sunday, we flew Vienna out to be here in Vancouver,

and this morning they closed the border. So we are here in Vancouver, and we're going to be

bringing you some conversations over the next little while and some lives and we'll be supporting however we can.

But I think today what we really wanted to talk about was how to stay grounded in this time.

I think it's very chaotic and people are feeling the impact in their families.

They're feeling the impact in their homes.

You know, they're stuck in their homes with their partner who maybe they don't spend

that much time with.

But I kind of wanted to check in.

So how are you feeling with them so far?

I feel mostly grounded.

I've obviously had a few moments of feeling pretty displaced and even though

being with you is nice and, you know, being closer into nature is nice. I definitely had

moments of, yeah, like just being outside of my home and not knowing when the return,

you know, obviously like sort of do, there's a quote, I think that's been going around and a rabbi

was talking about how what has, that nothing has really changed other than the illusion of control you know this veil

has been lifted and you know i think for so many of us our certainty and our routines and the

control we believe that we have in our lives is now deeply disrupted but it's also something that's just being revealed to us, right?
