God morning to you.

Should you ask and seek and knock for what you want like it says in Matthew 7 7 to 8 or should you take no thought for what you should eat and drink or where like it says in Matthew 625 should you ask or take no thought?

Pause this recording and sit with that question.

A seeming contradiction.

Until you come to the felt conclusion that they are one.

There is no one here to ask or to take no thought.

Joe Goldsmith shares the story of someone coming to the gates of heaven

and knocking and God saying,

who's there?

And the person saying, it's me, God, it's me, Lord, it is I.

And God said, sorry, very sorry, there's no room in heaven. Go away. You'll have to come back some other

time. And so the good man, surprised at the rebuff, went away puzzled. And after several years

spent in meditation and pondering over the strange reception,

he returned and knocked again at the gate, and he was met with the same question and gave a similar

response. And once again, he was told that there was no room in heaven. It was completely filled at the time.

In the years that passed, he went deeper and deeper within himself meditating and pondering.

And after a long period of time, had elapsed, he knocked at the door of heaven for the third time.

Again, God asked, who was there.

This time, his answer was thou art.
