I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. And the Lakers won a couple of games this weekend that I wish were the lead story.

But unfortunately, Anthony Davis goes down with a foot injury

on Friday night. And we haven't got an official word from the Lakers yet, but he's reportedly

out for a minimum of four weeks. We shall see as more details come in. And before we get into

the details of how this impacts the Lakers on a number of levels. In some way, that's what

this podcast is going to be about for the next little bit is surviving with that Anthony Davis.

I just wanted to give a quick word regarding AD. Earlier in the season, when we were two and ten

and kind of in that stretch, I kept saying, you know, this is the type of situation that we need

a superstar to pull us out of. And that was for morale, just as anything else. I think last season

and how that went really informed the beginning of the first part of this season. And it would

have been very easy to start to give up and lose belief. And Anthony Davis's

performance, he really put the Lakers on his back for a good stretch that I think as we were
