Good morning, I'm Michael McKee along with Tom Keene, the European Central Bank

set to report its latest monetary policy decision in about 15 minutes ahead of that we're getting earnings

by the bucketful. General Motors just out. Earnings per share in the first quarter

adjusted earnings per share, a dollar twenty, the consensus forecast was for $0.99.

Revenue of $0.3 billion is higher than the estimate for $35.6 billion. If you look up Verizon on Yahoo you'll find that first quarter adjusted

earnings per share were a dollar six that's in line with estimates.

Revenue 32.2 billion a little light the forecast was for 32.2 billion, a little light. The forecast was for 32 and a half. Blackstone, first quarter profit, fell 77 percent. Asset sales slowed economic net income. That's a measure of earnings that reflects

realized an unrealized investment gains dropping to 370.7 million that's
