Ukraine, the third winter of war, there are doubts across the EU, but the doubts that most

concern are the doubts in Washington.

One candidate leading in the polls indicates no or little support

for Ukraine a year from now when and if the election turns his way. Other members of Congress have doubts about funding the needs

for the Ukrainians through the winter into the springtime. Mary the dissent is

growing we just have a little time here where is it that we can

explain that if Ukraine falls there is no there is no safe place in Europe or in the in the Atlantic where can we explain that has that not been said enough Mary

Well, I think sitting in the United States the Ukraine war feels far away. It doesn't feel that way in places like Poland for instance or the Baltic states or nations like the Czech Republic that have experienced Soviet oppression within, you know, living lifetimes of people in Prague.

So it takes US leadership to stand up and to explain, hey, this is American public why we're sending money to Ukraine.

This is our strategic goal in the conflict.

This is why it benefits American national security for us to do these things.

And President Biden really hasn't done very much of that.

And so the result is Republicans questioning what we're doing,

why we're spending the money what are the strategic
