I take DoD's information very seriously. I'd like to know what kind of information Ambassador Khalilzad has,

and if he has the people and the resources on the ground to factually refute what DoD is reporting here,

we know that Afghanistan has long housed multiple terror groups, many of whom have also, by the way, taken sanctuary over the border in Pakistan.

We've also seen cases where, quote unquote, rival terror groups have even of different, you know, arms of Islam, Sunni and Shia have taken refuge in places like Iran.

And I think that's the only way that we know that that would never happen. Like why would a Shia State give refuge to a Sunni terror group?

Because their goals are the same. Ambassador Khalilzad stated in his tweets that we should hold the Taliban to their commitments on terrorism, but he doesn't say how.
