I'm John Bachelor. I welcome my colleague and friend Mary Kistel, Executive Vice President

Stephen Incorporated, former senior advisor to the Secretary of State. We turn now to July 4th, 2024,

celebration in the United States again of our liberty from our

colonial masters once upon a time that would have been King George and

the United Kingdom. Now July 4th is an election day for a general election day

for that very same United Kingdom. Things have changed a deal in two and a half

centuries, but I wanted to draw Mary out in her thinking about this election because we're

told that it's not close.

The polling suggests that Labor, led by Kirste-Starma,

is 20 points ahead at least.

And Mr. Sunak, who is the Prime Minister of the moment, is making a lot of attention to ideas

such as National Service and taxes and what he's going to do about the NHS, what he's going to do about education.

However, labor is so far ahead.

I wanted to address my remarks to labor.

Mary, labor's not been in authority in the Parliament since 2010 is my memory.

It's been a while.

More than a decade means that nobody can remember.

What do you expect from Kirstarmer from labor, knowing that they've done their

best to exit, to exit their anti-Semitic members, especially that Jeremy Corbin and his accolades, but that no one quite knows

that that's trustworthy, given the protests in London these last months, tolerated by both parties in the Parliament?

Well the Tories have run the UK for 14 years and they've done a pretty lousy job. They've strayed away from their

pro-growth small government economic principles. They did not take advantage of
