Our guest this week is Ivan Bates. He's a veteran trial attorney with more than two decades of

experience and a track record of success in the courtroom that is unparalleled. Regarded as one of

the top defense attorneys in Baltimore City, he's a senior partner of Bates and Garcia, a law

firm he started in 2006. He began his career as a prosecutor for the Baltimore City State's

Attorney's Office and has since been involved in many of Baltimore's highest profile cases.

Because of his expertise, Ivan did what most lawyers only dream of when he argued a case before the highest court in the land,

serving his co-counsel in Maryland v. Blake argued before the Supreme Court of the United States.

Of course, I know you as the guy who ran against Marilyn Mosby and Theor of Ignoraja

in the election for Baltimore City State's attorney.
