Yesterday was a rough day man. It really was from start to finish. I say rough it was a busy day. It was a busy busy day got up had some work to do around here

a lot going on man, you know writing a book trying to get this business up from my wife and there's a lot going on, man. You know, writing a book, trying to get this business up for my wife.

There's a lot going on.

Our regular stuff, we got camp, got covered in pitching search, coach search.

There is no shortage of reasons for your good friend and host to be on the telephone.

So nevertheless, it was a busy day, and so I just didn't think I could do the show justice yesterday.

And plus I wanted to watch old college baseball.

We'll talk about some of that briefly later in the show.

So I said, you know what, I'm going to punt until the morning.

And here's the thing that maybe you don't know about me.

So, you know, my wife works nights when she's travel nursing and she's not

that far away, but she comes home every week. But, you know, it's about, I don't know, 30 minutes from the

hospital to her rental place in Tennessee. So every morning I set the clock, she gets off at 7.30 or so. So I set the clock about 6.20 so I can get up and wipe the cobwebs away. And I talk to her on the way home from work. Number one, to make sure that she's doing good and it was a good night, but also two, that she didn't go to sleep. And so I get out my talk to talk to her morning and then the nice that she doesn't work it's super cool because it means that I can sleep a little

later but also means that she's headed home fortunately they're able to cluster her hours so she works

like three or four days in a row and it comes home for three or four days in a row which is cool so

so I've been up for a little bit now, and I guess

it's about 720 at this point. So I've been up, got the notes together, we're ready to go for

the show. And so today will be another camp day, the final camp day of the summer sessions

from Mississippi State. I speak for Paul Jones and I

both when I say we're very, very appreciative of the access and coverage opportunities that we

have at Mississippi State. I'm going to recap a lot of things that's happened to camp over the last
