All of those moments, the Pelosi moment,

the Schumer moment, and just the applause in general,

it felt as if they were going for the effect

of a kind of roaring surge of applause.

This kind of gradual swell of enthusiasm

and valiant support for the grand cause of Ukraine,

but in point of fact, because Biden's delivery

is so frenetic and kind of frantic,

you know, he's quickly to overcompensate

for the fact that he can't speak at all.

And so it was just these kind of jackrabbits,

like standing up and down and applauding really loud

for every half line.

It did feel a bit like the simulation was breaking down.
