Back in Starkville after the weekend in Gainesville. I got home about 1230 last night.

Got a few hours sleep. Got a bit's radio this morning. So here we are. If you hadn't done so, you can go over and read our exclusive interview with Bryce Chance following yesterday's

hard-breaking loss to Florida. We're going to break down the final two games of the series.

We'll look ahead to what's next for Mississippi State. But yeah, we had a golden opportunity

to take a very elusive and very crucial SEC Road series and came up a couple of ending shorts of actually

getting a sweep. I don't think Florida feels like they're better than us, but the scoreboard

indicates that they are. All of that said, and this may be a hot take, I think Mississippi

State is one of the best teams in the country. Now, we've got to figure out how to close our games,

offensively and defensively.

But this is a team that's got some really good pieces.

And I would caution, too, for those of you that haven't gone back and looked,

do you remember how dreadful things were last year after three weeks of SEC play?

And so again, I just offer that those that you kind of hang on to, hey, this is the same team we've had the last two years.

That's just not correct. Real quick, too, you may have seen that they're announcing the field for the Cayman Islands classic our Justin

Framer broke that news back in September that state was going to be in the field so if you're

thinking about that for next year be a nice little retreat go over the Cayman Islands

see some men's basketball and again I think things are still continuing to trend upwards for the Bulldogs.

That's something you've known for a while, but maybe you've forgotten.

But congratulations to Justin for getting that big scoop
