Summary

Mississippi State has not had much luck with Arkansas in recent years. It is funny how it all works out though. The Hog swept the Dogs in Starkville and then sat at home on their sofas watching the Diamond Dawgs win the national title.

This weekend will be interesting to say the least.

Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here in the wee hours of Friday morning.

By the time that you listen to this, I will be on my way to Fayetteville, Arkansas.

0:13.0

To watch the Mississippi State Bulldogs, the defending NAFIL champions take on the team that many people thought was going to be the NFL champion last year, the Arkansas

0:22.0

Razorback. So the guys have had our numbers the last couple of the times we've gotten together.

0:26.5

It's time for us to kind of get even. We've got to go up or at least get one. We're going to

0:29.7

preview the games a little bit later in the show. We're going to look around the SEC.

0:34.5

A lot of going on in the college baseball world, for sure.

That's one thing I'll say already.

There's a lot of parity in the league, probably more than many of us, including myself, anticipated.

0:53.7

You know, Tennessee looking really strong. Everybody else is kind of hit or

miss. You know, so maybe that's a good thing for Mississippi State. Maybe there's a chance for us

to kind of climb back into this hosting discussion. A lot of work left to do, and let's not get

1:05.6

the cart before the horse. States got to go out and win some baseball games to say the least.

1:10.2

But I think we're going to get some help around the league because I don't think there's going to be a lot of teams run away with stuff. And so you know how this thing works in the SEC? I mean, you know, we're a power conference. And so you finish in the top half of the league, you got a shot at hosting. So we'll see how things go. But a lot, a lot, a lot to talk about.

1:29.6

A huge series from Mississippi State. Many of you reached out to me after Everett Kennered,

1:36.3

you know, Big E, tweeted out that there was a bag left behind. Thanks you guys for reaching out.

1:43.1

Ever and I did connect. He called me shortly after he sent the

1:46.8

tweet. I have the bag in question. It is being delivered. You can rest assured it is in good

1:52.3

hands and it will be on its way to Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday. It'll be there. I personally

1:59.1

guarantee it. So we got it all worked out. Everybody can relax.

2:03.2

It's not, it's not anything, it's not like some magic formula or something. You know, we didn't
