Back from Texas. We had a quick trip out there, a quick trip back, hustled back to Star in Vegas.

We had to baseball scrimmings yesterday and then soccer game last night. And we cover both of those and I tell you have may not be

abreast of what's happening with your soccer program but let me give you a quick

quick update on this Bulldogs now nine and one when the polls come out we expect to

move up a spot or two currently

ranked ninth in the country ladies take down LSU two to nothing that score is

not truly indicative of the dominance that Mississippi State had last night LSU

credited with two shots on goal one of those just technically classified as a shot. It was not really an attempt on goal.

It was a direct kick that, you know, basically flew over everything and deflected off of an

LSU wing player that rolled towards the right side of the post.

So at the end of it all, State gives up one legitimate shot on goal the entire game

and does not have to defend a corner kicks.

LSU, one shot on goal, zero corner kicks.

Your Bulldog defense absolutely smothering.

Macy Hodge was absolutely outstanding.

I thought she was really the difference in the game defensively for Mississippi State,

and everybody played a part, don't get me wrong, but I thought Macy Hodge really stood out.

I asked her in post game.

I said, you know, it seemed like early on those 50, 50 balls in the air were contested.

And I think she won every one of them.

And in the second half, they just stopped jumping with her.
