What's up everyone? Welcome back to the show. Today we're talking about greenhouse seed starting which I think is

Pretty timely because a lot of us are growing in a an area that spring actually is a season unlike me over here in San Diego and you may want to get your

seed started early in a greenhouse for a little bit of that protection from the elements a little bit

warmer of a climate something where you can just get those seeds started ready for spring

So a lot of seeds you can just so directly in the garden we all know this however you may want to get a head start and something I would highly suggest because if you can

plant established transplants into the soil as soon as spring has sprung, of course you're

going to be ahead of the game versus someone who is going to be direct

seeding into the soil.

So most seeds like germination around 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

21 to 27 degrees Celsius.

There are some seeds that don't do well above 55,

maybe a spinach or something like that.

But again, 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit,

21 to 27 Celsius, that's the sweet spot

for most seeds.

And if you're in a cold climate right now,

chances are pretty good that the soil is not anywhere near 70 to 80 degrees, right?

Which means greenhouse or indoors, but we'll talk about greenhouse in this episode.
