As many of you may know, my life has drastically changed in the past four months.

My fiance and I broke up and I moved cross country back in with my mom during a pandemic.

It's amazing to have my family here as a support team for me to fall back on during hard times,

but I'm going to be completely honest with you guys, I cannot believe I'm living with

my mom and stepdad.

Ever since I moved to New York when I was 18 years old to go to college, I have supported

myself.

So initially, when I moved back, I felt a huge sense of failure.

It wasn't that I didn't have the financial freedom to live on my own either.

I had to move back in with my mom because I genuinely did not know where to go.

When I was with Jordan, every decision that was made was based on the idea that I was

going to be with him forever.

So when all of that changed, I actually felt really lost.

I didn't have any direction.

And I went from flying high in the clouds of Los Angeles to crash landing in South Jersey

in my mom's house.

What a change.

Starting over these last few months has been really hard, but it has also woken up a part

of my soul that I think was gone for far too long.

I was stripped down to my core when I originally got home.
