But perhaps the silver lining in that

is it made it easier to spot the vehicles and technology

that might otherwise have been overlooked.

For one example, I came across Harbinger, the Los Angeles startup that unveiled an electric

truck platform tailored specifically for medium duty trucks.

What they're doing is really interesting, building skateboards and vehicles specifically for the class 4 to 7 medium duty market.

I wanted to hear more, which is why Harbinger CEO and co-founder John Harris is my guest on today's

guest on today's podcast.

Harbinger began working on its chassis 18 months ago and now that they're

unveiling their first products at the Detroit Auto Show, I thought perhaps maybe they're too late to join this EV startup

craze, which has obviously peaked with some of the more ridiculous spax we've seen in recent years.
