So let's get right into it, shall we?

I would never stand between you and beer, Matt. That's for sure.

And we've got to start in the world of soccer, where the US men's and women's soccer teams agreed to historic new collective bargaining agreements on Wednesday.

The agreement, which will run through 2028, includes an equal split of World Cup bonuses and sets up equal pay for both the men's and women's national teams.

Yeah, and like any collective bargaining agreement, there are way more nitty gritty details than we have time for in our lifetimes.

But you mentioned two key parts of this huge agreement, Tate.

First, players on both national teams will receive identical amounts for all game appearances.

And secondly, when it comes to prize money, this is a big one.

The women's and men's bonus pools from the World Cup will now be combined into one single pot.
