Hey everybody.

Who is a newly minted urban farmer here in San Diego.

If you live in San Diego, he's in the Lemon Grove area.

And we're going to do a full week on this Thanksgiving week of episodes from Stephen.

What does he have to share with us? And the first thing we're going to do, the first thing we're going to kick off with is

we're going to talk about if this is a career path for you.

If it's something you actually think you want to do,

how do you get to that point mentally?

It's a big leap to quit a job.

Let's say you're working in a corporate gig or not, just you have a steady paying job, but you feel the call to farm, how do you actually make that leap? And that's something that Stephen just did because as of last week I believe you

quit your job and now you're doing this full time right?

Yeah so I just started doing this full time and it's been a long journey to get here but I'm just so excited to

finally be doing this and having the confidence to know that I can make this work.

Awesome dude so I mean I only ever grew micro greens commercially and so I don't have that

experience I don't have the experience of leaving something full time pays well you can pay the bills and then

actually just pursuing this as your main gig so what can you talk me through at least

what was it like what made you want to make the switch and

then I guess psychologically how did you actually do it? So the biggest factor for me

was just having the knowledge about farming to have the confidence to know that I could raise
