Hello everyone. Welcome back to the Epic Gardening Podcast. Today we're going to talk about a house

plant that I think a lot of people have problems with. I know that I sure have had problems

with growing them in the past and it's a shame because it's one of the few

house plants that we grow actually for its flowers or for its appearance much more

so than other house plants.

And that would be the peace lily,

also known as Spathy Fillum,

also known as the white sail plant.

It has many different names.

Here's something interesting. It filters out five dangerous

toxins from the air. Benzine, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, xylene and ammonia. And so in this

guide you're going to learn everything you need to know about

how to care for it and I'll go over a couple different varieties as well.

Honestly, I love it. I mean I grow it because it's one of the few houseplants in my garden

that has beautiful leaves, but of course those blossoms are absolutely amazing.

And so peace lilies, there's about 40 varieties or so so which of course I can't talk about in this episode it would go on forever and ever

And so I'll recommend one small one medium and one large variety for you the small one I would recommend is Power Petit. It tops out at about

15 inches high. Medium-sized piece of lily I would go with the Mona-Loa

Supreme. It's one of the most common ones you can find. It'll get anywhere from three to four feet tall and can reach around nine inches wide on the leaves. Pretty big one there.

Finally, the largest piece of lily variety out there is called sensation and it can reach

actually six feet tall, so a little bit shorter than me.
