from Monday, starting off with a Monday surprise DL trip, IL trip for Fernando Tatis Jr.

Yeah, this is a, well, certainly a big deal. And it looks like it won't be the minimum.

Looks like he could be out until the All-Star break. So, I mean, Tatise has been like not maybe fully what you were hoping for

when you took him in the first round this year, not you specifically, but all of us. That being said,

he's still on pace for about 100 runs, maybe 30 home runs. The steals are disappointing. He's

only on pace for maybe 15 to 20 steals.

I think in this steals environment, we felt like we'd get 30 plus.

So that part's been a little disappointing.

But in general, he's been pretty good.

So, yeah, anyways, out for probably about a month.

And yeah, anyway, so, yeah, that's a big impact to him and a big

impact to the potteries we're hanging around in that glob of teams yeah to make that while trying to

get the wild and the thing that's frustrating is he missed games over the weekend due to a triceps

injury and somehow it gravitated down to his femur um and it's a stress reaction in the quad portion in his femur. So obviously this is something that's been bothering him for a while, too, although he couldn't tell by his performance lately. He's actually hit very well. He's had like two stolen bases the last 21 games. So it's not like a ton of stolen bases, but he also hasn't been like a slog either. No, June had been his best hitting month of the season by a mile. Like he'd hit five home runs in 20 games this month. He was hitting 365 in June. So, yeah, other than the steals, like he was doing everything. The RBI were a little low. But other than the steals, he was doing kind of everything that we wanted this year.

And when you factor in these hitting second, maybe you don't expect a monstrous RBI total.

It could have been a little better.

Yeah.

But anyways, about about a month without him in this offensively, you know, not, I would,

deprived might be an exaggeration, but offensively kind of deprived environment.

Challenge. Yes, challenged. It's hard to find replacements for him. And you're not going to find, I don't think you're going to get David Peralta, who's probably going to get a heavier role for the Potteries, even though he's not in the lineup today. Probably going to have a heavier role for the Potteries, but I don't think he's your answer. Yeah your answer yeah uh so yeah parralta donovan salano who's also been getting a lot more playing time as a late
