I'm quite a news nerd.

But I've got to be honest, given the news cycle

for the last week has been people dying and you're going to be poorer soon. It's been hard.

It's been harder than usual to stay across this stuff. And I'm now speaking to my guests from

across the pond out there in Arizona, Andrew Doyle. How have you been? I mean, how's the news out in the US?

Is this, is the war everything in the news cycle or are there other more pressing issues domestically?

No, it's pretty much everything is pretty much the war and how people are reacting to the war

and the division that it's causing within the Republican Party and where the MAGA are standing on it and all of that sort of stuff. So it is basically all war at the moment. So you've got to, you know, other things are going to get swallowed up at the moment, you know? It's like when Mother Teresa died at the wrong time just when Princess Diana died. That was the wrong time to die because a lot of people barely noticed. Who went first in that? I never remember that.

Well, it was, no, it was Diana.

It was Diana. And then I think, and I think Mother Teresa, and then someone else, was it Farrah Fawcett Major or someone a couple of days later, but it didn't matter. It was all about Diana. I hope I haven't just named someone who's actually still alive. I always remember when the pandemic started and the lockdown happened.
