June the 18th where Andy Burnham is the Labour

candidate and has made no secret to the fact that he wants to win the seat to come to Westminster

to replace Keir Stama, who he believes has gone in the wrong direction. Breaking news overnight,

the Keir-Stama has confirmed that he's going to make a feel to campaign for his leadership

rival. So you have a prime minister supporting a man that's standing on a ticket to take his job.

Let's hear from the prime minister himself, lovely.

Yes, and I've said to the whole Labour movement that I want

everybody to be involved in the campaign. Whatever other discussions are going on, it's really

important. That's a straight fight between Labour and reform. It's about the values that we take

into politics. So it's really important that we all pull together and fighting that by-election,

as we will do.

So you're looking at all. Yeah, I want to be part of that. Of course I do. And I want everybody

to be part of that. But also, by being clear about the steps we've taken to stabilize the

economy. Because all of this that we've announced today has only been possible because of the steps

we took at the budget.

The fact that inflation dropped is because of the step.

That didn't drop out the sky.

That's because of the decisions the government took.

So we've got a very good story to tell.
