Hey everyone. I'm your other host, Caitlin. And welcome to this week's episode where we're talking all about Mall Shadow Lord episodes 7 and 8. And firstly, I have to apologize that this episode is getting out a little later than I think Charlotte and I would have originally wanted, but just ended up being one of those weeks. You know what I mean? Charlott's helping her parents move. I've been busy at work. It's just we've been kind of all over the place and it was just one of those weeks. But we are here now talking about

episodes seven and eight. And these were really good. I know. I know. And yes, because I've been

helping my parents move, I am not at my desk usually. So if I sound a little different,

that's why I always do this disclaimer. Anytime I, we record in different spots than we usually do, but I am so excited

to talk about these. These episodes were included in our screeners, but we didn't get to them.

So these are the ones that Caitlin and I have been dying to watch. Like, we finally made it.

And also, I was just obsessed with the title, The Creeping Fear, because of the history,

and I'll probably talk about it a little bit. But I was just so excited to get here. So I'm so happy

that we're here talking about it. And they delivered. The show's so good, guys. So good.

It's so good. Yeah. So we're going to be talking about Chapter 7 Call to Oblivion, which aired on April 27th,

2026, and it was written by Julia Kuperman and directed by Nate Vianueva.

And then Chapter 8 is The Creeping Fear, also aired on April 27th, 26.

And this one was written by Jennifer Corbett and directed by Saul Ruiz.

Excellent, excellent episodes. Excellent, excellent, excellent crew writing and directing these episodes.

Chapter 8, obviously. Everyone had told us, which, by the way, okay, when we interviewed the creators, I had cut out this part because it was too spoilery. Oh, yeah. Oh, I forgot about this. Yeah, and I was waiting for it. I've been waiting for it. And I, like, didn't bring it up to you, Caitlin, at all, because I, like, didn't want to bring it back. You know what I mean? Because we we hadn't

watched the episodes yet. But they had talked about how they loved working on the part with

Mall in the tunnels and all the different versions of what he saw in the tunnels. And that's all

they said. But Caitlin and I were like, we can't air that.
