And welcome to this week's episode where we are back talking all about Mall Shadow Lord, Chapter 5 and 6, which aired today, actually, at the time of recording on April 20th, 2026.

Oh, yeah. We're here, Chapters Five, The Inquisition, in Chapter 6, Night of the Hunted.

I am so glad to be back talking about the show. This is, we're recording this, like Caitlin said, in real time.

We did watch this as a

screener, but this is as far as we got. So we didn't finish our screeners, which went to

episode eight, so we didn't, we didn't see next week's episodes. So we're back in ordinary time.

And I feel like we have some things to catch up on. First, Maul was renewed for a second season before it even really began, which is really exciting.

And when we were recorded for the show previously, we didn't know that yet.

And honestly, I feel like this changes our perception of what this show is going to accomplish in this season.

And it's interesting.

Yeah, I think we definitely talked a lot about if, you know, how should we be viewing this

season as a limited series or was there potential for a second season? I think that impacted a lot

of our thinking specifically about mall. I know this is. And Devin. Yeah, and Devin. Really, I would say

predominantly mall, honestly, something we were talking about, I think both on the show and then also

kind of, you know, to each other as well while we're watching, rewatching chapters five and six. So

having the knowledge now of the second season is prime. I'm so glad we have a second season to look forward

to. Me too. I'm just happy to have more animated shows in our life. And yeah, I think that it just,

I think a big question for me specifically was like, how do I view Devin? Because I find her a little

bit of an enigma and is she actually going

to be someone who turned to the dark side and if we have enough runway for her to even do that in a

satisfying way by the end and if like what's the full complete story of this is a limited series

...
