A ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran is in question as tensions escalate in the strait of Hormuz.

U.S. officials are trying to reopen the critical waterway through a mission dubbed Project Freedom.

U.S. Central Command says it will feature more than 100 land

and sea-based aircraft and 15,000 service members. However, a U.S. official says this isn't an escort

mission. Iran argues that Project Freedom violates the ceasefire and appear to respond by

resuming attacks in the region. Suncom says the U.S. military blew up six Iranian boats after Tehran launched multiple cruise missiles,

drones and small boats at U.S. Navy ships and commercial ships.

In a phone interview with Fox News, President Donald Trump warned Iranian forces that they would be,

quote, blown off the face of the earth if they attempted to target U.S. ships in the region.

CNN's Nick Robertson is in Pakistan. When I met with Iranian officials here late Friday, they said, look, if we come to some agreement

over the Strait of Hamoos, what's the stop? Who's going to guarantee for us that the U.S.

Navy doesn't move in and doesn't take control of the Strait of Hamos?

And this appears

to be what the Iranians have responded to today. They said they would respond. They said

that they would respond militarily. They've escalated it now to targeting not only the UAE,

injuring three Indian nationals there, but targeting Oman as well, injuring two people there in a strike.
