Hey friend, welcome to another guided prayer experience. I'm Judah, and I'm excited to lead you in a very specific type of prayer.

This prayer that we're invited into by the New Testament calls it the prayer of worship. It's praying our adoration, praying our adulation,

praying out how big and grand and wonderful we know God is.

It is through this type of prayer that I have found an overwhelming, fresh, and new perspective.

It's a perspective prayer.

It is.

Because when you consider the height, the length, the width,

the depth of his love, his grandeur, his magnificence,

it reminds you again that whatever challenge or difficulty or pain you're facing it.

Well, it pales in comparison

to his eternal and cosmic grandeur.

He is great and he is greatly to be praised.

The prayer of worship.

The psalmist wrote,

O God, you are my God.

Early will I seek you.

My soul thirsts for you.

My flesh longs for you in a dry, in a weary land where there is no water. So I have come to the sanctuary to see your power and your glory. For your power,

your essence, it's better than the life I live.

It's eternal.

O great God of all time, O great God of all realms and cosmos and universes known and unknown, who is like you?

For you have no peer.
