2022 Appalachian Trail through Hike team. This guest has worked as a trail angel.

He's done some volunteer work helping out through hikers, but this year's his turn to go out and hike it.

Stan the man, suitor, welcome to Pop Bear Hikes.

Thank you, Pop Bear. Glad to be on and I really feel privileged to be on this podcast.

Stan, it's great to have you on. I've watched your YouTube videos and you do a great job with that.

Thank you. And as I've told our people in previous episodes, we are looking to really cheer on

those of you who are going to take on this challenge of hiking the trail end to end.

Before we go any further, thank you for volunteering to take part in this and allowing us to

follow you on your journey in 2022. Hey, that really excites me. I'm really privileged and

just happy to be a part. Stan, let's start off by telling us a little bit about yourself.

Okay. From New York City, lived here approximately 40 years.

Work for an electrician as a project manager and estimator. And I've worked for only two

contractors my whole life, one for 20 some odd years, almost 30 and last for about five years.

And I'm 64 retiring and can't wait to start my trek on the Appalachian Trail. It's been a

seven year countdown for me and I'm just excited. I have two kids and brothers and sisters
