Welcome back yet again to the active self-protection podcast. I am, as always, every week, your host, Mike Williver, and I remain your favorite. Former Fed with me today. A new friend of mine, his name is Austin. Austin is from Ohio and then Mississippi and then Ohio again. We'll talk about that in a second. he is in property preservation and he's married with one son. Austin, how are you, sir? I'm doing good. How are you doing today? Doing fantastic. So I mentioned you're from Ohio and then Mississippi and Ohio for a reason. One, because you're in Ohio now and your story took place in Mississippi. And two, because I could have swore you were born and raised in Mississippi based on your accent.

There's a funny story behind that, which is that my wife's best friend grew up in L.A., moved to Alabama, northern Alabama, Florence, Muscle, Scholes area when she was probably 18 or 19.

You mentioned that was your... Yeah, go ahead. Yes, sir. So I basically just go and I, uh, me and my wife, we worked together. We actually worked through her parents. Her parents started us down in Mississippi. So we kind of branched off of it in Ohio. So what we do is we get a different house as like abandoned homes, foreclosed homes, and we fix up whatever needs fix.
