Did you ever have any idea that you would be you got fans across the political spectrum across the age spectrum I got that

But did you ever expect that you would be the toast of conservative talk radio in this country?

No sir I probably wouldn't have thought that I would have left the rock genre and gone to country

There's a lot of things that I wouldn't have thought 20 years ago

Did you change did you grow up did the world change did we just see a new side to you?

All of the above the world has definitely changed around me I'm a father I'm very concerned about what's going to be left of this country when it's our children's turn to be prosperous and successful

And I can't keep my mouth shut so there's that too

What is driving you to open your mouth because so many people who do what you do particularly if they have they don't have to be conservative

Leaning so they can just be common sense leans they can understand that what's going on is wrong so many of them bite their tongues because they fear it will harm their careers and they choose dollars over decency in principle

I'm in a very interesting situation where all the record label really does for me is put out my music
