Johnny, we're at a bike race.

We are just below the Mirda-Pretagna when the Peloton is contest.

Not much of a gap anymore.

Not much of a gap, also just so fast uphill, all the time every time.

Every time you see it, I mean, Jesus, that is fast. Johnny, we were saying yesterday in the car,

that some of it, the first couple days, felt like there were fewer people on the side of the road.

This doesn't feel like that. This is vintage Tour de France. The sun is beating down. Basically,

the entire country is on holiday.

I don't know how everything keeps running. But it's just a big party vibe. You know, it's families out, bike riders.

Doesn't really matter. Everyone's having a good time.

I think the key, especially here, is that the race has not necessarily been to the Normandy region all that much in the past years.

Yeah, we kind of had the grandaparte in 2021, but, you know, there's some parts of France to get it every year,

and they're the more tourist destinations here. I imagine it's mostly locals who've come from the region.

Let's try to nose our way into the edge of the course here. See if we can see anything.

That's the main peloton.

It's really split up.

We're gonna have to watch a replay to figure out what happened today.

Yeah, the vehicle's gonna build and build and build,

and the helicopter comes closer and closer and closer,

and you can just kind of feel the whole crowd.

Like the tension rising with everybody.

Everyone's craning their neck to see their cheer in.
