So we are going to begin by calling to mine wherever in the presence of Almighty God in whom we live and move and have our being. We call upon Him in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. |

| 1:07.6 | Our theme for this rosary is St. Cateri, Tekewitha, since this is her feast day. |
| 1:15.0 | Today is the feast day of St. Cotiri Teiquitha, nicknamed the Lily of the Mohawks. |
| 1:19.6 | Katiri is the first Native American to be canonized. |
| 1:25.8 | She was born in 1656, just outside of modern-day Albany, New York. |
| 1:29.5 | Her mother was baptized by Jesuit missionaries, |
| 1:37.8 | but she and Cotiri's father died of smallpox when Coteri was only four. The disease left terrible scars on Cotteris' face and created cataracts on her eyes that made her all but blind. |

| 1:47.3 | so that the youth in the tribe wouldn't make fun of her face. |
| 1:52.3 | Even though Kateri wasn't baptized until she was 19 years old, |
