Hello, welcome to our Rosary.

It's awesome to be with you and it's awesome to be with my buddy Tom Hogue,

who's with me tonight and with Charlie.

Let's begin by calling to mind wherever in the presence of

Almighty God in whom we live and move and have our being. We call upon Him in the name of the

Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. We've got lots of prayer petitions that came in today.

I want to pray for Tom Pile. We prayed for him yesterday. He did pass away.

So for Tom, for Bernadette, his daughter and all the family, for his repose, for the repose of Mary Boose, for the repose

of Gailard Epperson, who's a relative of my mother's, for Frank Bo Booth, and for Tom Bunker.

Today's the Feast of St. Ambrose.

St. Ambrose lived in the fourth century,

and like all Saints, he was an amazing man with amazing talents.

As a young man not only was elected governor of Milan in 374 due to his recognized talents and human virtues, but then, and despite

his protests, was selected as Bishop just two years later. So Governor and then Bishop. What is even

more remarkable about this selection was that he wasn't yet baptized, although he was a catacumen.

So he quickly received all the sacraments before being ordained and then consecrated Bishop.

Though trained as a lawyer, he and then consecrated Bishop.

Though trained as a lawyer, he quickly turned to and excelled in theology.

Proving that having a good and converted heart is an excellent starting point for a well-formed mind.

His knowledge and love of God resulted in his love for the poor, selling all of his lands and possessions, for he came from a wealthy family,
