And I'm John David. Jay-D. Hey, Bo, good evening, man. Man, good evening to you. How are you doing it? I'm doing great. I'm doing great. Happy Memorial Day to you, man. Happy Memorial Day to you. I know. Such a somber but good day in American, you know, just kind of rituals and rhythm. We celebrate the folks that have given their life to our country and to defend our liberties today.

You know, it's interesting as I recognize that, I've noticed, you know, people that have had family members that have passed away through, you know, whatever, you know, conflict.

You know, they are really interested in making

sure people know the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Right. That's right. Yeah. And there, and there is a

difference. So, you know, today, this is the, this is the weekend. We really honor the folks that have made

the ultimate sacrifice. And, you know, not just, you know, with know with American troops but you know we we think

about peace loving troops across the world as well that have have been you know our allies at times

and things of that nature and so anyway I just wanted to start the start the show kind of

mentioning that you know we're absolutely a lot of a lot of really wonderful families out there that are

looking back on some

relatives that uh have blessed them and and blessed us with uh with their lives so um anyway but

it's a good day also for uh for a pipe and maybe a piece of fried chicken and a watermelon

a little bit of barbecue all that other stuff yeah man i went for a run today in my neighborhood

and you did not i did well it was like a half run and then it turned into a walk.

You know what I mean?

That sounds terrifying.

Look, it's one of these things that, you know, on a day like today where you're right, we've got such great meaning behind it. Yeah. But at the same time, a lot of people, and I mean, this is just life in America. when there's a holiday with significant meaning behind it, how do we celebrate?

Well, we celebrate with food.
