needs no introduction, but I'm going to give him one anyway. Mr. Stephen Presfield, he's the author of

many books, a lot of books, both nonfiction and fiction. His debut novel, The Legend of Bagger Vance, was adopted for screen.

So it turned into a film of the same title released in 2000, directed by Robert Redford with

Matt Damon and Will Smith. He's written a bunch of books you've probably heard of,

including his books around his struggles to earn a living as a writer.

It took him 17 years to get to his first paycheck, which we'll talk about.

And he's detailed that in the war of art, turning pro, the authentic swing.

Nobody wants to read your beep and the knowledge.

And so just a prolific writer, his book, The War of Art, was crazy impactful

for me as I was getting started on my journey for a book writing and all that good stuff.

So today, what we're going to be talking about is the War of Art, turning pro as a writer
