| 0:47.3 | fantastically corrupt. How do you respond to that? And how did the people of Nigeria respond to that? |
| 0:55.7 | What I would say is that I would not characterize Nigeria as fantastically corrupt, |
| 1:03.3 | as the prime minister said. But certainly Nigeria has challenges with corruption. |
| 1:10.2 | But the good thing is that the present administration of the president, |
| 1:15.6 | President Muammu Bwari, has won campaigned and won the election, |
| 1:21.6 | partly on the promise to fight corruption. |
| 1:24.6 | And since he's been in power, its government has committed |
| 1:28.7 | and dedicated the law enforcement agencies in Nigeria |
| 1:32.6 | towards fighting corruption. |
| 1:35.2 | So why I would not use the word fantastically |
| 1:38.1 | to describe the corruption situation in Nigeria, |
| 1:43.1 | I would say, yeah, the prime minister is not far from |
| 1:47.7 | the truth to say that we've had challenges with corruption in Nigeria. |
